Visual Quality Inspector
Job Description
Our Client is a Metal Surface Coating and Treatment company bases with a shop in New Britain, CT. They started in 1929, with the mission to keep different metal products longer lasting and resistant to fatigue, corrosion, and heat damage. They support mostly OEM parts in the aerospace, defense, power generation, oil and gas, and ground transportation industries. They have a medium sized team of about 25 people and are currently seeking a Visual Quality Inspector Candidate.

$18 -$20 Hourly

- Receiving inspection of customer parts to verify as received dimensions and conditions.
- In process inspection of all production operations.
- Final inspection and testing of coating thickness, adhesion, visual and fluid resistance testing per the applicable internal procedures.
- Maintains supplier qualifications and approved supplier list.
- Performs final contract review prior to final lot acceptance to assure conformance.
- Files, maintains and archives all quality records according to retention requirements.
- Generates purchase orders for outside repairs, services and materials.
- Previous visual quality inspection experience.
