Job Description
Our client is an innovatiove mid-sized manufacturing company in Seymour that manufactures electronic hardware and componenets for the Defense, Aerospace, Automotive, Agriculture, Electric Vehicles, Medical and much more. We are immediately seeking to add to their Plating department teams to support recent growth.
Production Associate
Job Summary
This position will be operating and tending Manufacturing secondary equipment. Individual will be responsible for all quality and documentation associated with the process.
Reporting To
Production Manager
Essential Job Functions
$19 to $21 per hour
Work hours:
6: 00 am to 2: 30 pm, some overtime may be offered.

Production Associate
Job Summary
This position will be operating and tending Manufacturing secondary equipment. Individual will be responsible for all quality and documentation associated with the process.
Reporting To
Production Manager
Essential Job Functions
- Properly and safely load and unload parts individually to a metal rack.
- Properly load and unload parts into baskets for plating and drying purposes.
- Properly and safely load and unload anode bags.
- Operate and tend manufacturing equipment (tumbler) as directed.
- Report any problems or concerns to team lead.
- Completion of required daily documentation.
- Assure good housekeeping and machine maintenance practices
- Maintaining all safety and employee policies and report any infractions or concerns to management.
- Able to work flexible hours and overtime when required to meet customer demand
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Able to work safely with hazardous chemicals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow procedures.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, use of pallet jack.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a parts plating capacity.
$19 to $21 per hour
Work hours:
6: 00 am to 2: 30 pm, some overtime may be offered.
