Paint Shop/Powder Coater
Job Description
The Powder Coater will be responsible for applying powder coatings to steel components and assemblies, ensuring quality finish that meets our comapny standards and client specifications. Our ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or fabrication enviornment and possess a strong understanding of powder coating processes and equipment.
Job Functions:
*Prepare product/parts and mask hardware for paint.
*Hang and remove product/parts from the powder coating line
*General assembly work, place labels, insert hardware, etc. Possible use of pneumatic air tools.
*Prepare and pack finished goods to be shipped.
*Coordinate with department supervisor to ensure the applicable work orders are being addressed in order as needed.
*Move product to and from different areas as needed, the use of manual hand trucks and hydraulic assisted hand trucks.
*Maintain a clean work area and keep up supplies needed to complete daily work.
*Other duties as assigned.
Education/Work Experience:
High School diploma or GED and one year of manufactruing experince in a fabrication/powder coating enviornment.
Physical Demands:
*Employee must be able to lift frequently and move, lift up to 50 pounds, anything over 50 pounds will require a team lift. Standing, bending, use of hands/fingers.
Work Hours:
9: 30 a.M. To 6 p.M. Monday - Friday
Pay: $17 to $17.50 depending on experience
