Metal Form Set Up Operator - Fourslide Department
Job Description
Our client is an international metal precision manufacturer that focuses on metal springs, progressive stampings, machined components, and assembly work for almost 80 years, and has over 400 employees! They have been supporting various industries including medical, defense, aerospace, and other government industries. They make a wide variety of parts for a large number of customers! They are currently seeking a Set-Up Operator for the Automatic Power Press Department on both 1st and 2nd Shift.
Selling Points:
1st Shift: 6: 00 AM - 2: 30 PM
2nd Shift: 2: 30 PM - 11: 00 PM
Pay Rate:
$28 - $35 Hourly + 10% shift Diff on Second Shift

- Production output of the Auto-Power Press area to insure that scheduled deliveries are met and to improve process flow.
- In process QIP specifications specific to the Auto-Power Press are operation and quality requirements.
- Operator and set-up personal training.
- Troubleshooting all aspects of Auto-Power Press operations.
- Use of "forman's dispatch and open order "reports and maintaining production reports.
- Monitor Set Up Operations (of department staff) recommend corrections and changes as required.
- Recommend and oversee all machine maintenance in the Auto-Power Press area.
- Supports Company engineering in the development of tooling projects as needed.
- Supports maintenance tool room as directed by department Supervisor.
- Knowledge plus experience with progressive dies, presses & wintress die controls.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including stamping, machining and secondary operations.
- Strong precision machining skills.
- Visual Quality inspection.
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
1st Shift: 6: 00 AM - 2: 30 PM
2nd Shift: 2: 30 PM - 11: 00 PM
Pay Rate:
$28 - $35 Hourly + 10% shift Diff on Second Shift
