Job Description
Our client has been in business for nearly 100 yrs and employs 200+ locally. They manufacture small connectors and fittings used by major major construction and electrical contractors and distributors. The variety of precision parts allows employees to learn different processes move between lines. Presently we are hiring for Manufacturing Electricians on 1st & 2nd shifts

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour.
3% Shift Differential if on 2nd shift.
Schedule:
Mon - Fri
1st Shift: 6: 00 AM - 2: 00 PM
2nd Shift: 3: 45 PM - 11: 45 PM

- Install, and repair all types of electrical equipment such as high tension switchboards and automatic controls
- Perform all types of plant wiring including the maintenance of signal telephone or loudspeaker systems
- Install and repair relay and ordinary lighting circuit jobs, push buttons controls, switches, cord sets, etc.
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions for all electrically controlled equipment
- Recommend and order spare parts and equipment
- 3+ yrs experience
- Hydraulic Pneumatics required
- Knowledge of PLC Programming, Troubleshooting, and Repair.
- Understanding of industrial motor control, AC/DC, inverter drives, holding circuits, and overload protection
- Capable of troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and wiring of basic electrical components such as relays, starters, motors, drives, and switches
- Experience using common electrical tools such as Multi-Meters, Strippers/Crimpers, EMT Benders, and Threaders
- Must be able to mechanically disassemble and assemble basic machine components with common hand tools.
- Preferred: E-2 License
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation SLC500 is a plus.
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour.
