Job Description
Our client has been in business since the 1990' s and is one of the states larger sheet metal fabrication shops located in Shelton, CT. They make and finish large products right on site such as railway safety carts and X-Ray machines for airports and boarder security. They have 170 employees are increasing their work force and did not shut down during the pandemic. They are adding a 30, 000 square foot addition on to their shop as they are continuing to grow. They are seeking MIG and TIG Welders. They offer roughly 50 hour works weeks with competitive pay, lots of overtime opportunity, and great benefits.
Selling Points:
6: 00 AM - 4: 30 PM, 7: 00 AM - 4: 30 PM (9-10 hour work days)
Additional OT Offered Saturday Mornings 7 - 12
Pay Rate:
$18 - $26 (commensurate with experience)

- Will be doing MIG and TIG welding of stainless steel, steel, and aluminum parts from .040 " thick up to 1.00 " thick.
- Laying out and setting up tack welding and finish welding on all products required.
- Working in a job shop environment.
- 2-3 years experience (will consider less for the right candidate).
- Must have knowledge of MIG and TIG welding.
- Must have knowledge of reading blueprints, and weld symbols.
- Ability to measure with calipers, squares, and tape measures.
