Mig/Tig Welder
Job Description
Our client is a premier precision sheet metal fabrication shop They have a 45, 000 sq ft in Naugatuck that employs 75. Their components support an incredibly wide variety of products ranging from ice machines, x ray machines, bridge parts and more. They are currently seeking an experienced Mig/Tig Welder to join their team!

Schedule:
Mon - Fri
Flexible Start and End Time within an 8-10 hour day. (4 AM ideal start time)

- Set up and perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on a wide range of sheet metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Fit, square, and assemble parts to tight tolerances prior to welding
- Operate grinders, saws, and basic fabrication equipment as needed
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers and standard measuring tools
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all company safety protocols
- Production welding MIG and TIG: 2 years.
- Experience working on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Must have experience in creating CNC Press Brake Programs from blue prints.
- Must be able to use calipers, and basic inspection tools.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
$20 - $24 Hourly
