Foreclosure Paralegal (2-3 Month Contract)
Job Description
Our client is a midsize law firm located right in Hartford with roughly 85 employees! They have a couple locations within the Northeast and work in a number of different legal areas. They have an excellent work life balance operating on a 35 hour work week, and offer great benefits! Their team is seeking a full time self-motivated, detail-orientated paralegal on a temp basis with experience in Connecticut foreclosure. You will be working specifically in the foreclosure department alongside 3 attorneys and 1 paralegal. The job will run for about 2-3 months covering someone on medical leave!
Selling Points:
M-F 8: 0 A.M. - 4: 00 P.M. In office (1 hour lunch) 35 hours (schedule can be flexible)
Pay:
$27 - $30 Hourly

- Providing administrative support to attorneys.
- Preparing and finalizing pleadings, correspondence and other documents.
- Docket and calendar management to keep all attorneys and paralegals on the same page.
- Organize meetings for staff and manage the travel itinerary and costs that come with it.
- File pleadings and other legal documents with the state and bankruptcy courts.
- Proofread and edit legal documents.
- Set up and organize files.
- Assist each attorney with other tasks requested.
- Need to have experience in CT foreclosure law from start to finish.
- 2 years experience preferred.
- Knowledge of E-filing on CT Judicial website is required.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Outlook Calendar management skills are needed.
- Experience with a billing software is needed.
