Job Description
Our client is located right in Seymour and is a fairly large company with 160 employees strong. They are a woman owned U.S. Based electronics services provider. They service a variety of industries including defense, medical, telecom, and industrial market sectors by creating both simple and complex circuit boards that go into their numerous clients products. They are currently seeking Engineering Technician!

- Occasional OT offered on Saturdays but not required.
- Plans and develops processes and capacity utilization strategy for SMT assembly operation.
- Solder paste printing, automated solder paste inspection, component placement, reflow soldering, automated optical inspection, automated X-ray inspection, 2D and 5D.
- Identify and resolve production/quality issues.
- Ensure production readiness of key processes in PCB assembly cycle.
- Designs experiments to develop optimum production processes such as solder paste selection, stencil designs, feeder set up methodology, selective soldering techniques.
- Optimizes machine set up and programming sequences.
- Troubleshoots to root-cause equipment and process related problems.
- Writes Pre and Post build DFM reports in customer centric manner.
- Manipulates data files to accomplish above using Gerber, OB++, various CAD packages and 3D modeling such as Solidworks.
- In depth experience in all aspects of the SMT Line plus programming experience.
- Must have hands on experience with PCB.
