Engineering Manager

We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager who thrives on the plant floor, leads from the front, and turns ideas into measurable results across manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Own
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team

Coach and grow a team of engineers with clear expectations and accountability

Build a culture of ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
-
Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Safety
Drive Plant Performance
-
Be a visible leader on the floor—troubleshooting real-time production challenges
-
Improve throughput, reduce scrap, and optimize labor and processes
-
Lead root cause analysis and implement lasting corrective actions
Own Engineering Strategy & Execution

Oversee stamping, welding, fabrication, finishing, and automation systems
-
Lead capital projects from concept through ROI (equipment, robotics, CNC, etc.)

Manage RFQs, vendor selection, and implementation
Champion Continuous Improvement

Lead Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and 7S practices
-
Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency across the plant

Use data and metrics to guide decisions and measure success
Execute with Discipline (EOS Environment)

Own quarterly priorities (“Rocks”) and drive them to completion

Lead through metrics, scorecards, and structured problem-solving (IDS)
-
Align engineering efforts with company-wide goals
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar)

5–10+ years in manufacturing engineering (metal fabrication, stamping, welding strongly preferred)

Proven leadership experience (team development + accountability)

Strong background in automation, robotics, and process optimization
-
Ability to lead on the floor and think strategically in the office

Experience with Lean Manufacturing (Six Sigma Black Belt a plus)

EOS or similar performance-driven environment experience is a bonus
-
High visibility + real impact —your work directly drives production and profitability
