Electronic Control Panel Assembler/Builder
Job Description
Looking to work in a clean, technical and safe environment? How about a company that has paid their temporary workforce for snow days when the plant was closed?
Our client is a growing pump manufacturing and engineering company located in New Haven. We are seeking a Control Panel Assembler to perform a variety of technical job functions related to assembling new and returned electrical control panels. The individual will also need to process appropriate paperwork, maintain serial numbers and production logs and assist with the testing of the panels.

Monday through Friday 7: 30-4pm with 30 min lunch

Our client is a growing pump manufacturing and engineering company located in New Haven. We are seeking a Control Panel Assembler to perform a variety of technical job functions related to assembling new and returned electrical control panels. The individual will also need to process appropriate paperwork, maintain serial numbers and production logs and assist with the testing of the panels.
Duties:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical element of a control panel including floats, probes, heater elements, circuitry, voltage wiring, PLCs, VFDs and similar components
- Interpret manuals, electrical wiring schematics and similar documentation, translating them into proper assembly procedures
- Utilize tools such as electrical meters, wrenches, torques, screwdrivers, electric drill and saws.
- Inspect wiring and controls using precision electrical instrumentation
- Assist with testing of performance of completed panels
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in technical manufacturing setting
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical equipment and manufacturing assembly including interpreting schematics
- Technical School degree preferred but not required
- Ability to use computers and software including MS Outlook, Word & Excel
- Written English

$18 - $19/hr
