Job Description

Our client, a commercial and residential plumbing & HVAC supply company, is seeking a Part Time Bookkeeper. The position will be about They have been in business for over 40 years. They have a showroom for retail purchases where they sell kitchen/bathroom fixtures as well as HVAC products.  

Responsibilities:
  • Record a company's financial transactions, manages accounts payable and receivable, maintains financial ledgers, processes payroll, and performs bank and other account reconciliations
  • Inputting daily financial activities, such as sales, expenses, purchases, and receipts, into general ledgers and bookkeeping software. 
  • Creating invoices for clients, processing incoming payments, and paying vendors for goods and services. 
  • Ensuring all financial records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date by posting transactions to the correct accounts. 
  • Balancing and reconciling bank accounts, general ledgers, and other company accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies. 
  • Assist in managing payroll, including processing timesheets and issuing payments to employees. 
  • Creating financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into the business's financial health. 
  • Completing required tax forms and ensuring compliance with provincial and federal tax laws

Qualifications:
  • 3 years previous bookkeeping experience.
  • Software experience;Epicor and Quickbooks.
Schedule:
15 Hour Work Weeks
Tues - Fri
10: 00 AM - 1: 30 PM

Pay:
$20-$23 Hourly
