CNC Machinists
Job Description
Our Client is a major manufacturer of industrial brakes and clutches. They have been in business for over 100 years and are continuing to grow! They also make locking assemblies, ring springs, dampeners, and shock absorbers. They support various industries including aerospace, automotive, military, and medical. They currently have roughly 50 employees and are looking to hire additional CNC Machinists as they continue to grow

3: 00 PM - 11: 30 PM
OT available but not mandatory and on Saturdays
Pay:
$25-$35 Hourly + Shift Differential
pay based on experience.

- Responsible for operating CNC Mill/Turn machines.
- CNC set up and operation, producing a wide spread of high quality parts.
- A lot of manual machining.
- Working with boring rings on soft jaws.
- Performing setups and offset changes.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, milling etc.
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
- Must have CNC Mill/Turn Experience.
- Must have experience reading micrometers, blueprints and checking dimensions.
- Must have manual machining experience.
- Must have ability to set up and operate/perform all functions of your machine, including some basic maintenance.
