E-Commerce Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven E-Commerce Specialist to manage and grow our online sales channels for plumbing supplies and related products. This role is responsible for maintaining product listings, optimizing the online customer experience, and driving revenue through digital platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in e-commerce operations, product data management, and digital marketing within a distribution or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities of our E-Commerce Specialist
- Manage day-to-day operations of the company's e-commerce platform (e.G., eBay, Amazon)
- Create, update, and optimize product listings, including descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing
- Ensure accuracy of product data, inventory levels, and online catalog organization
- Monitor website performance, sales trends, and customer behavior using analytics tools
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure product availability and accurate fulfillment
- Handle customer inquiries, order issues, and returns related to online sales
- Identify opportunities to expand product assortment and improve online merchandising
- Stay current on e-commerce trends, tools, and competitive landscape
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in wholesale, distribution, or industrial products
- Familiarity with plumbing products, parts, or supply industry (preferred)
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, eBay, Amazon)
- Strong understanding of SEO, product merchandising, and digital marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of plumbing supply products (fittings, valves, fixtures, pipe, etc.)
- Basic HTML or product feed management experience
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $28-33/hour based on experience
