Job Description
SHIPPING - RECEIVING - INVENTORY ASSISTANT
We have a customer that specializes in electro-hydraulic controls and is hiring a shipping and receiving-inventory assistant to add to their Warehouse. This company is family owned and has been in business for over 50 years with 200+ employees here in Connecticut. On site, they do manufacturing, electronic assembly, PCB design and engineering.
Selling Points:
Shifts:
(1) Mon through Fri 6: 42 am - 4: 12 pm
(1) Mon through Thurs 7am - 4: 30 pm & Fri 7 am-11 am
Pay:
$17-19/hr

- Receives all incomming components, stocks. Handles and ships finished good, package, label and ship
- Forlk lift skills a plus.
- Counts and signs for incoming boxes
- Unpackages, organizes, and moves incoming materials to the receiving department
- Assists in inventory area, as directed, computer work.
- Keeps work area orderly and upgrades when needed
- May operate manual and electric pallet trucks and electric pallet stacking truck
- Performs other duties as directed
- Ability to read and understand English as necessary to comprehend Company documentation
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Regularly and move 70 lbs. Or more occasionally
- Basic computer skills and good organizational skills
- Ability to learn departmental processes and procedures
- If assigned to coating, must be able to wear a respirator for prolonged periods of time
