Production Supervisor
Job Description
Our client is looking for a 1st Shift Production Supervisor! Lots of growth opportunity to move up with a growing company!
POSITION SUMMARY This position ensures the proper execution of all production requirements and the day-to-day supervision of operators.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS
•Ensures operators adhere to all safety protocols and always behave in a safe manner, including compliance with OSHA regulations.
•Leads team members in the production of high-quality products by ensuring compliance to food safety (SQF) and good manufacturing practice (cGMP) requirements.
•Ensures operators execute production requirements as detailed in SOP's, Batch Records, and on the job training, and verifies activities are properly documented.
•Conducts on the job training for all production, quality, and safety related procedures.
•Prioritizes production resources and activities to ensure the timely completion of customer orders.
Ensures timely and open communication of the status of production activities to production management. Ensures effective communication of status and priorities between 1st and 2nd shifts.
•Fosters a team environment with clear expectations and accountability while promoting a clean and organized workplace that minimizes waste.
•Coordinates the execution of production requirements with cross functional teams including Quality & Regulatory, Supply Management, Facility Maintenance, and Shipping & Logistics.
